Concert

Last evening we went to a Gaither homecoming concert "Lovin' Life" in Toledo. It was really awesome, We had never been to one before. First off it was 4 hours long!! There were several singers, I really enjoyed Gordan Mote their Blind piano player, as well as Mark Lawery, The Isaacs (they were awesome) Ernie Haase and Signature sound and also Lynda Tait Randle, and David Phelps. They sang gospel music as well as several Christmas tunes. When we went in they gave us each a blue light, it looked awesome to see all of them on and/or flickering when they sang--especially such songs as Oh Holy night and silent night. It was really cool.
We were in section 2 which was off to the left side of the stage as you were looking at it, we were 3 rows back, they had several monitors you could see too. We basically could see their profiles unless we watched the monitors. The man right in front of us won the giveaway they had of $200. of merchandise! My sister Nancy made the arrangements, we went with her and her husband Randy, my mom and my other sister Joyce. It was a lot of fun.

Tonight Dave, mom, Nancy, Rachel and I are going to the Croswell Theater to see A Christmas Carol. We are really getting a lot of "Culture" this week for a couple of old people!!
